Progress on the Laurence McKinley Gould Biography

• Research: after several years, largely complete, to the extent that research is ever complete. More can always be added, however, and persons able to contribute information or anecdotes useful to a biographer are warmly encouraged to contact Eric Hillemann.

• Writing: well underway, though advancing far more slowly than the author would like, given the difficulties of fitting writing time into rare "spare" time. Progress is shown below.

• Publication: there are as yet no definite arrangements in place regarding publication; the stress now is on advancing the manuscript.

• Interest: obviously strong, in expected quarters. Thanks to all those who clearly wish that the work were already available, but whose questions about the pace of its completion are always so gentle.
