Welcome to the Plant Development home page! This page has been designed to help students readily access materials needed for the lecture, discussion, and laboratory portions of the course.

Course Goals for Students

  1. Explore the conceptual framework of angiosperm development from seed to seed
  2. Investigate mechanisims of plant development
  3. Gain exposure to a variety of experimental approaches to developmental questions
  4. Increase competence in experimental design and data analysis
  5. Become proficient in reading and analyzing primary literature
  6. Gain experience in oral and written communication
