This periglacial deposit with wonderful primary sedimentary structures is near the shore of Lake Vermillion

Leah and Ryan in the neutrino trap at the Tower Soudan Mine State Park.


Near the Tower-Soudan Mine is one of the best jaspelite outcrops in Minnesota.


Trying to figure out its story is a real puzzle.
